Established in 2006,Ìý Ìý (FBA) recognizes, honors, and celebrates the best literature published each year by ³Ô¹ÏÍø authors or about our state.Ìý Carmen’s book was one of more than 190 entries submitted across eleven categories this year, and there was a very strong pool of submissions.ÌýÌý

Her achievement will be recognized with:

• A series of in-person events in Tallahassee
• Placing a copy of her book in ³Ô¹ÏÍø State University’s permanent collection of ³Ô¹ÏÍø Book Award Winners
• Recognition on their website with her photo and author bio
• Inclusion in , the magazine of ³Ô¹ÏÍø Humanities
• And medal stickers, which can be placed on her book
