Dr. Taylor Hagood is Professor of American Literature in FAU’s English Department. His scholarship has focused largely on the writing of William Faulkner, African American literature, and the literature of the United States South. His scholarly books include
Faulkner’s Imperialism, Following Faulkner, and Faulkner, Writer of Disability, which won the C. Hugh Holman Award for Best Book in Southern Studies. He has also published the biography/true crime, Stringbean: The Life and Murder of a Country Music
