The South ³Ô¹ÏÍø Cultural Consortium Fellowship for Visual and Media Artists program is the largest regional government-sponsored grant in the United States, awarding $15,000 and $7,500 grants to resident visual and media artists from Broward, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe, and Palm Beach counties. Established in 1988, the Consortium has since awarded more than $2 million in fellowships to 172 artists.

There were ten Consortium winners for 2009, representing four of ³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s five southeastern counties, working in diverse media from film to fibers, painting to photography, sculpture to assemblage/collage.Ìý The Consortium exhibition was presented in both the Ritter Art Gallery and Schmidt Center Gallery.
