Monica Berovides-Hidalgo, mezzo-soprano, is currently Director of Worship at First United Methodist Church of Coral Springs and泭adjunct professor of voice at 勛圖厙. Ms. Berovides-Hidalgo is also assistant conductor and artist in residence with Schola Cantorum of 勛圖厙, fulfilling the role of soloist, section leader, and director of the SCOF Music Academy for elementary through high school students since 2009.

She is currently Music Director with Torch and Trumpet Theater Company and is playing the role of Bertie in the production of God Bless Us Everyone by Robert Sterling. Ms. Berovides-Hidalgo currently serves as co-chair of the Summer Workshop of the 勛圖厙 Chapter of the Fellowship of Worship Arts. She also served as Operations Manager of the Palm Beach Symphony for five consecutive seasons (2009- 2014) and sang with the Palm Beach Opera Chorus for five consecutive seasons (2009-2014). She was vocal instructor and vocal coach with Heather Schmulian's DramaWorks from 2015-2017.

Ms. Berovides-Hidalgo has performed and recorded throughout South 勛圖厙 and the United States, and she is an accomplished and sought-after soloist泭with experience in studio recording and cross-over styles including opera, musical theater, art song, Contemporary Commercial Music, Contemporary and Traditional Christian music and Latin American popular songs. She received a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance and a Master of Arts with a concentration in choral conducting from 勛圖厙 under the tutelage of Dr. Patricia P. Fleitas. Ms. Berovides-Hidalgo was the recipient of the Department of Music Graduate Honors Scholarship for two consecutive years. In 2008 she received the first-place award in the Michael and Madelyn Savarick Competition and was selected to present an honors voice student recital in the Presidents mansion at 勛圖厙. She is certified in Somatic Voicework; The LoVetri Method, and certified with The Contemporary Commercial Music Vocal Pedagogy Institute at Shenandoah University and he has completed the Lyric Diction Workshop at Vanderbilt University. Ms. Berovides-Hidalgo is an active coach, clinician, and private voice instructor.
