Taylor Tyson

Before graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in political science, Taylor Tyson served as Executive Editor of FAU’s Undergraduate Law Journal, an award-winning delegate of the Leon Charney Diplomacy Program at Nationals in New York City and Washington D.C., a member of the national honors fraternity Phi Kappa Phi and international pre-law fraternity Phi Alpha Delta. Driven to empower youth, Taylor has addressed over 6,000 students throughout ³Ô¹ÏÍø as an advocate of various causes. Taylor is the President of the Beethoven Beatles Foundation, a 501(c)(3) started that has donated over $40,000 in instruments to underprivileged children and inner-city schools, and the Palm Beach County Director of the nonprofit, For A Day Foundation, a nationwide charity which creates emotionally therapeutic experiences for terminally ill children.

In June 2018, Taylor earned the title of Miss ³Ô¹ÏÍø 2018 and placed 3rd-runner up to the title of Miss America in Atlantic City, New Jersey, awarded over $50,000 in scholarships total from the competitions. As Miss ³Ô¹ÏÍø, Taylor will travel the state as a spokesperson for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Advanced Recovery Systems, and the Everglades Foundation. On behalf of the Everglades Foundation, she will travel to Washington D.C. to lobby for environmental causes.
