The NRT Annual Meeting, held in Golden, Colorado on March 23–24, 2026, provided an outstanding opportunity for trainees and program representatives to connect with fellow NRT participants, share research, and learn from one another. This year’s meeting marked the largest in-person gathering to date, with 118 NRT projects represented, nearly 200 posters presented, and a total of 393 attendees.

A highlight of the meeting is the Travel Award program, which supports promising trainees in attending and participating in the conference. This year, NRT trainee Nikki Leali was selected as a Travel Award recipient, receiving $500 in support to attend the meeting.

During the conference, Nikki had the opportunity to engage with fellow NRT graduate students and present her research, “OnCourse: Multi-Agent AI System for Academic Planning,” further contributing to the collaborative and interdisciplinary spirit of the event.

It is exciting to see our trainees showcasing their work and connecting with peers across the national NRT network.
