Admission Requirements

Domestic Students

A baccalaureate in Mathematics or a related field completed with an average of "B" or better
Graduate GPA of 3.0 (if applicable)
Three letters of recommendation
Approval of the FAU Mathematics and Statistics Department graduate committee
Statement of personal objectives in essay form

International Students

A baccalaureate in Mathematics or a related field completed with an average of "B" or better
Three letters of recommendation
Approval of the FAU Mathematics and Statistics Department graduate committee.
Statement of personal objectives in essay form
A general evaluation of international transcripts is required; FAU will do the evaluation or it must be done by a NACES member
