Professionalism is an attribute and competency demanded of all physicians and an important component of the College of Medicine at ³Ô¹ÏÍø. Medical schools have a responsibility for the initial professional education of their students and for assisting in the development of professional attitudes and attributes among these students. The basic components of professional behavior can be clearly defined and monitored during the medical education experience. Please use the below forms to report professionalism concerns or commendations.
Special Request for Absence from an Educational or Clinical Responsibility
An must be submitted for an anticipated absence to all of the student’s current Course Directors or Clerkship Directors affected by the absence a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the event.
