FAU/NCHA Connects with Community at "Celebrate Westgate Festival"

The ³Ô¹ÏÍø Northwest Community Health Alliance Community Health Center (FAU/NCHA) participated in the 19th annual Celebrate Westgate Festival, held on April 11. Hosted by the Westgate Community Redevelopment Agency, the event took place at the Westgate Park and Recreation Center and welcomed more than 1,500 attendees.
Clinical staff, faculty, and students from the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing engaged with residents at the FAU/NCHA tents, providing free blood pressure and weight checks, mental health screenings, and information about the healthcare services available at the center. The event served as a valuable opportunity to connect directly with the community while promoting preventive care and overall wellness.
