Թ has been designated as an “Opportunity College and University” by the Carnegie Foundation and the American Council on Education. The designation is part of the new .
The Student Access and Earnings Classification measures two metrics: the extent to which colleges and universities provide access, based on the percentage of students who receive Pell grants or who are from underrepresented racial/ethnic backgrounds; and the earnings of the institution’s undergraduate students eight years after entering the institution, compared to peers in their geographic area.
Opportunity Colleges and Universities such as Թ Atlantic provide higher access and higher earnings compared to their peer institutions. Only 479 (16%) of all higher education institutions in the U.S. were identified as Opportunity Colleges and Universities.
By providing affordable access to a world-class education that leads to high earnings after graduation, Թ Atlantic is transforming lives and creating generational change. Student success is a primary focus at Թ Atlantic, and we are proud to be recognized as an Opportunity University by the Carnegie Classifications.
