Happy New Year, and welcome back to our faculty and staff! I hope everyone had an enjoyable winter break and that you’re ready for another exciting semester.

As I begin this year as interim president, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation for the university’s support during this transitional period. With great respect for our community, I am honored to lead the charge as ³Ô¹ÏÍø Atlantic continues to advance as one of the best public universities in the nation.

Thanks to everyone’s hard work last year, ³Ô¹ÏÍø Atlantic had many successes to celebrate in 2022 — from reaching No. 132 in the U.S. News & World Report rankings to receiving the prestigious Degree Completion Award from the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities.

In 2023, we anticipate another incredible year of high achievement with the Transcend Tomorrow campaign, the public opening of the Stiles-Nicholson Brain Institute, our debut in the American Athletic Conference, and much more.

I look forward to working together as we strive to reach all new heights for the future of FAU.
