Happy homecoming week, Owls! �Թ��� Atlantic is celebrating “Homecoming: We Got the Funk” today through Saturday, Nov. 2, with a series of special events on the Boca Raton and Jupiter campuses. I encourage all students, faculty and staff to enjoy the planned festivities and observe homecoming week with pride.

One of �Թ��� Atlantic’s most cherished homecoming week traditions is the annual , which honors distinguished students, faculty, alumni and supporters who have provided exceptional leadership and service to the University. This year’s ceremony will take place Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the Recreation and Fitness Center on the Boca Raton campus. We look forward to recognizing these outstanding Owls.

On Friday, Nov. 1, the celebration will culminate with our homecoming football game against USF at FAU Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and fans are encouraged to wear red to show their Owl spirit. A special  will take place at the Marleen and Harold Forkas Alumni Center starting at 4 p.m. Tickets to the homecoming game, including free FAU student tickets, are available at .

To close out the homecoming festivities, we will induct the Class of 1974 into the  on Saturday, Nov. 2. Each year, this ceremony honors �Թ��� Atlantic alumni who have reached their 50-year anniversary of graduating from the University. I look forward to celebrating these remarkable Owls, whose legacies set an inspiring example for their alma mater.
