This week, the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Atlantic softball team will play in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2016. After finishing the regular season as the American Athletic Conference co-champions, the Owls received an at-large bid to the Gainesville Regional. The team will face South Alabama on Friday, May 17 at 2:30 p.m.

This has been an outstanding season for the team, which has a 41-14 overall record and went 21-6 in conference play — the program’s most wins since 2016. ³Ô¹ÏÍø Atlantic has been in the Top 40 in the RPI rankings for much of the season and was ranked in the Top 25 in the Softball America poll — its first ranking since 2016.Ìý

Additionally, the Owls received a number of conference honors:
