Diane G. Sherman received her PhD in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin and her MSW from the University of Central ³Ô¹ÏÍø. Dr. Sherman’s practice experience includes clinical director of a behavioral healthcare system for inpatient, outpatient and partial hospitalization care for children and adolescents; program administrator in foster care; and clinical social work in hospice. Her book credits include “Helping Victims of Violent Crime: Assessment, Treatment and Evidence Based Practice. Dr. Sherman’s research and scholarly interests include human trafficking, the stress and coping processes for victims of crime, restorative justice, the effectiveness of mental health interventions, and grief and loss issues.
