Across disciplines and campuses, ³Ô¹ÏÍø Atlantic’s world-class researchers seek answers to some of humanity’s most challenging problems, addressing issues that impact ³Ô¹ÏÍø, our nation and beyond.
To enhance interdisciplinary and collaborative research, ³Ô¹ÏÍø Atlantic has established four university-wide research institutes focused on the university’s strengths. These areas are dedicated to improving and addressing diseases of the brain, enhancing human health and quality of life, protecting the environment locally and globally, and using sensors to monitor the world around us.
Partnerships
Two of the world’s leading research organizations, the Max Planck ³Ô¹ÏÍø Institute for Neuroscience and The Scripps Research Institute, are located on the Jupiter campus and offer high school, undergraduate and graduate students transformational experiences not found anywhere else in the world.

Through its entrepreneurial ecosystem, the University drives economic growth in our region. FAU Wave
FAU Wave is an undergraduate research and entrepreneurial competition challenging students to develop innovative ideas targeting societal problems.
FAU Tech Runway
FAU Tech Runway serves as a hub to accelerate technology development and incubate student, faculty and community startup ventures.
SBDC @ FAU
The Small Business Development Center at ³Ô¹ÏÍø Atlantic provides intellectual capital and expertise to meet the needs of existing and emerging small business owners in Broward and Palm Beach counties.
