The Leon Charney Diplomacy Program recently competed in the annual diplomacy competition in Washington, D.C. The program received seven Delegation awards, finishing first place overall out of 61 competing universities.

The dinner celebrated the exceptional work of K-12 teachers supported by FAU’s Gutterman Family CHHRE and honored the 2021 Gutterman Family Outstanding Holocaust Educators.

Article challenges the commonly held notion that nonprofits with lower overhead are better than those that spend a lot.

The award recognize outstanding faculty, student, alumni and community leadership.

The lecture will take place on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 4 p.m. in the Owl’s Nest, The Schmidt Family Complex for Academic and Athletic Excellence, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus.

The concert will feature music from the Academy-award winning film “Summer of Soul,” a documentary by Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson about the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival.

Thanks to a historic $20 million gift from the Wallachs in November 2020, FAU is an epicenter for intercultural dialogue and education in the greater South �Թ��� region.

The award honors a theater company that exemplifies excellence for the totality of its programming: productions, educational outreach, developmental programs, and audiences served.
