Philosophy of Video Games Conference
The Fourth Annual Philosophy of Video Games Conference was hosted by the Department of Philosophy and sponsored by the Center for Peace, Justice and Human Rights, and the Center for the Future of Mind, AI, & Society. Held over two days, the conference brought together more than 70 attendees and more than 20 presenters from across the country to examine the ethical, aesthetic, metaphysical, social, and political dimensions of games and play.

Jeffrey Huber Featured in Architectural Record泭
Jeffrey E. Huber, FAIA, School of Architecture, was recently featured in Architectural Record magazine for a Ft. Lauderdale park he designed with Lawrence Scarpa, his partner at Brooks and Scarpa Architects, that addresses coastal resiliency.

Top Story: , a community journalism initiative in the School of Communication and Multimedia Studies,疲as been awarded a $100,000 grant from Press Forward, a national initiative aimed at revitalizing local news and strengthening communities. MediaLab@FAU was launched in September 2023 by Ilene Prusher, senior instructor of multimedia journalism. Its been estimated that MediaLabs articles reached upward of 25 million people based on potential online exposure of its articles in its first year.
