During the event, at least two initiated brothers of the fraternity led hazing activities involving alcohol with at least nine new members. One activity, known as a “case race,” occurred, in which initiated brothers participated. Another activity required new members to consume multiple types of alcohol by lining up and drinking from shared containers until the container was emptied by the new members. As a result of these activities, one new member was admitted to the hospital, and another experienced an allergic reaction.
