FAU Consortium for Graduate Medical Education
The FAU Consortium for Graduate Medical Education is a partnership between FAUs Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Bethesda Hospital East, and Tenet HealthCare systems Delray Medical Center, St. Mary's Medical Center and West Boca Medical Center. Formed to further the schools and communitys commitment to training the next generation of health care providers, the Consortium supports a growing number of graduate medical education (residency) programs. Through a variety of patients and areas of expertise, these hospitals provide a richness of opportunity found nowhere else. Their resolve to bring the best educational opportunities to the continuum of medical education will ensure the continuing quality of education and care for the future of South 勛圖厙.

Bethesda Hospital East is committed to provide a world class learning environment and retain those physicians in our community. This community, not-for-profit hospital offers a full array of healthcare services, including maternity services, a Level III neonatal ICU, pediatrics and pediatric ICU services, a 28-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility and comprehensive cardiovascular services. It It has 400 beds, with 19,600 勛圖厙, 112,500 outpatient visits and 58,000 ER visits each year. Plans are underway to build a 5-story tower dedicated to medical education with the community's support.

Boca Raton Regional Hospital has evolved from a community hospital into one of the preeminent tertiary medical centers in 勛圖厙 offering a full range of medical services. It is located one mile from the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine facility at FAU. It has 400 beds, 19,700 勛圖厙, 180,000 outpatient visits and 40,000 ER visits per year.

Delray Medical Center泭 offers a wide range of specialized services, including emergency care, cardiovascular care, a comprehensive stroke center and psychiatric services. It is a Level I trauma center for adults and children. It has 493 beds, with 18,900 勛圖厙, 79,900 outpatient visits, and 42,800 ER visits per year.
St. Marys Medical Center

St. Marys Medical Center泭 provides comprehensive medical care for adults and children, as well as community education and outreach. Its dedicated Childrens Hospital offers a wide array of specialized services, including a pediatric trauma center and pediatric emergency department. St. Marys other services include Level I trauma, a comprehensive stroke center, orthopedics, mental healthcare and obstetrics. It has 463 beds, with 17,100 勛圖厙, 116,900 outpatient visits and 47,000 ER visits each year.

West Boca Medical Center泭 is an acute care medical/surgical facility known for its pediatric and surgical specialty programs, including robotic surgery; it is highly rated in studies of its safe and effective care and provides maternity care and a Level III neonatal ICU. It has 195 beds, 10,500 勛圖厙, 67,500 outpatient visits and 32,400 ER visits per year.
