I started my career in nursing at the University of Stony Brook in Stony Brook, New York. I obtained professional nursing experience at the New York-Presbyterian/ Weil Cornell Medical Center in New York City as a Neurosurgical intraoperative nurse, then as step-down open-heart nurse. I decided to relocate to ³Ô¹ÏÍø in 2005 and worked as an open-heart ICU nurse at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. Several years later I served as the manager and director of the ICU and ER departments. I obtained my Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Barry University in Miami, ³Ô¹ÏÍø in 2009 and completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Miami in Miami, ³Ô¹ÏÍø in 2012. I served in various leadership roles within Nicklaus Children's Hospital Heart Institute from 2011 thru 2022.
