The Exercise Physiology concentration coursework is now offered fully online, and is only 30 Credit Hours. The programās online offerings have allowed for maximum flexibility among students with the ability to take courses that fit oneās schedule. The innovative curriculum for the courses in this program were custom designed in collaboration with FAUās Center for Online and Continuing Education and have received the distinction of āHigh-Quality.āĢż
This 30-credit hour program can be completed in 12-18 months.Ģż
Graduate Research
Graduate students have the opportunity to work alongside experts in the field in a range of areas. Graduate students interested in research are advised that research is happening both in-person and online. Research students in this concentration should contact Michael ZourdosĢżregarding in-person research.
Graduate Assistantships
Every semester the Department of ESHP offers more than 10 graduate assistantships. A graduate assistant will be assigned to a faculty member to assist with their teaching and/or research. Additionally, a graduate assistant will teach an undergraduate course(s). Thesis and other research can be pursued in addition to a graduate assistantship. Combined Bachelorās to Masterās Programs
The Department of Exercise Science and Health Promotion offers two combined bachelorās to masterās program. Bachelorās of science students pursuing degrees in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, as well as Bachelorās of Arts in Health Sciences students are eligible for the combined bachelorās to masterās degree program.Ģż
In the combined degree program, 12 credit hours of graduate coursework can be taken as undergraduate electives and count toward the graduate degree. The fully online graduate degree is 30 credit hours, which means this combined program allows for students to complete their bachelorās and masterās degrees in only five years.

Bachelorās of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion to Masterās of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion
Admission Requirements: Students may apply during their undergraduate junior year and will be admitted with ā„3.25 GPA.
- Students must receive a grade of āBā or higher in each graduate course taken as an undergraduate student.
- This program will enable students to complete their undergraduate and masterās degrees combined in 5 years total.
- Students in the B.S. Exercise Physiology concentration will be able to complete their bachelorās and masterās both fully online.
Bachelorās of Arts in Health Sciences to Masterās of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion
