Our Studies
Our lab is currently hosting multiple studies, both in-person and online! We are currently running studies online through Zoom, a video conferencing platform, for infants between 6 months and 24 months old. Our in-person studies are held on the Boca Raton campus of FAU. Participation is fun, easy, and informative! You can learn more about child development as well as contribute to science in a meaningful way, helping us to understand how babies understand their worlds. Engage with your baby in our interactive neuroimaging studies! We're interested in the ways that both parent and baby's brains process information during social interactions. We record responses from both the infant and parent brain simultaneously while they interact together during structured cooeprative tasks and unstructured play sessions. |

We record infant attentional behavior using our eye-tracking system! We use a specialized camera that allows us to record where infants are looking on a video screen. Infants are seated on their parent's lap in a dimly lit room and spend about 5 minutes watching different videos or looking at pictures of social and nonsocial objects. |
